Words cannot express my sincere gratitude for all you have done to enrich the life of my son Caleb. He truly has taken charge of becoming who he wants to be! His self-esteem is growing with great bounds and i truly owe that to you both and the fantastic gift karate has given him. Thank you so much.

My son, Andrew, has been taking Karate since January of 2010. Before he started at Tri-Star, he was diagnosed as having ADD. He was doing poorly in school and our home had turned into a constant battle ground. Homework took 3 hours or more and always devolved into shouting and crying. He was unable to focus on the easiest tasks. We decided to enroll him in Karate because of the benefits involved with learning focus and self-esteam. I called every dojo in the area and even watched classes to find the best fit. We chose Tri-Star because the program was all encompassing to include discipline, focus, self-confidence, and self-defense. I was also impressed that the students need to earn their promotions. The other dojo's I visited were giving higher belt ranks to children who obviously had not mastered the material. Since starting at Tr-Star, Andrew's grades came up by the end of the school year and homework was much easier. This school year, Andrew has straight A's and homework only takes 30 minutes. He has also improved in regards to showing respect and following directions. Andrew has also been a member of the Demonstration Team, Black Belt Club, and Leadership Club, which has really boosted his self-esteam and ability to handle responsibility. I am extremely impressed and thankful to Sensei and the staff at Tri-Star for all of their hard work and the wonderful changes I have seen in my son!

Once a friend asked me to quit karate because it was interfearing our time to play. I've been doing karate for about three years, so I'm pretty adapted to it. I said, "I'm sorry karate is getting in the way of our time, but karate is good for me and I enjoy it, so I will keep doing it."

I watched my son from a toddler to a teenager in Karate. It is a great experience to watch him as he came full circle in all his endeavors especially in his tournaments and in his participation in the demo team. He looks so professional it makes me feel so good inside when I watch him go through his training like he says, It's a way of life for me dat it sure does keep me in good physical shape and it makes me feel good about myself. I would like to say a special thay you to Sensei A for the special help you gave Brandon and for your excellent staff which is a vital element of someone's success.

In February 2009, I had thought about my son trying karate. I didn't really know much about it and stumbled upon Tri-Star by chance. I'm so glad I did! My son loves taking karate and is always very excited to go to class. I am completely impressed by the quality of instruction he receives. The black belt instructors are very skilled, professional, and are fantastic with the kids. It it totally apparent that the kids all love the classes and respect their teachers. That's really cool!
I am most impressed though by how the kids learn about things like manners and values (like self-respect, respecting others, good sportsmanship, etc.) and how this is interwoven throughout all the activities. I realized very quickly after my son started at Tri-Star that the school was unique and am so thrilled at what he has learned so far. His coordination has improved dramatically and he carries the positive attitude expected of him at Tri-Star to other activities as well. Sensei, you have such a positive influence on my son and I am very excited about it and also very grateful! My neighbor told me recently that Tri-Star was the best in Berks County. I can totally see why he said that! Oh, I love the Cardio Karate classes for me too. Thanks Sensei!!!

Sensei,I am very glad that we were able to dicuss matters. It is so refreshing to be able to discuss matters with someone who is able to take the time to see another's perspective without prioritizing their own views. I am very appreciative of the time you took to speak with me, but I am more grateful for the positive role model that you and your staff at Tri-Star karate are for my daughter Brianna.
You run a tight ship for all the right reasons. I see how the kids look at you and it is very clear that you have made an incredible impression on them. You are what is referred to as a "Charasmatic adult". Wheather we as adults realize it or not, there is that one person in all of our lives that has left and indelible mark on our lives and renmain in our memories forever. For most it is a school teacher, but you, Sensei, are that for Brianna! Oh yea, Josie too! Tee Hee! We all adore you. Thanks for all the hard work and committment you make to our children.

A thank you not was probaly inadequate to express my appreciation for all you have taught and personally given COnrad over the years in karate.
Your lessons and his instruction in Karate have shaped his values, lifestyle and outlook on life. He learned to go for the things that are important to him and not to give up. He learned to prioritize and how how to determine what is most important. "Don't sweat the small stuff." He acknowledged the mind, body, spirit conncetion and make every effort to keep himself healthy.
I am glad that Conrad found his way to Tri-Star Karate. You always made him feel right at home, as if he was a part of the family. Thank You Sensei A

Well this is my well overdue testimonial of what karate has done for me. I won't lie in this at all, it is all 100% the truth. Throughout my life since I was young, I've had some anger problems. When I joined karate I started to get rid of my anger issues, or atleast be able to control the rage. Now I don't get angry much anymore.(Unless it's the case where I went to see 300 and I had these people constantly talking behind asking where did all the spartans go!!!) It also helps me keep my weight down. I'de probaly be that guy that takes up the whole sidewalk, if I didn't have karate in ym life. Of course, it keeps me in shape. My speed increased and I have more confidence in myself. Even in sports it helped. As a lineman, balance is key. Karate increased my balance, and bam what do ya know, I was first string the first year I played! Even in golf, it helps. The people you meet in the dojo(karate school) are very friendly. I've made many friends there since I started on 12-10-2002. I've got to say, karate is very fun to do. The environment in which I train is a very friendly one.
So there it is, my testimonial.

Karate has taught me that there is nothing I cannot do. In training for 6 years(the longest commitment I've made) I have learned that I'm in control of my own life. The decisions I make are totally mine, and influenced by no one but myself. Every day is a new day. The past is behind you, so leave it there.
Thank you Karate and Sensei

I have been trianing since I was 4 years old and nothing could be a better cure for anything! My training has shown me how amazing I truley am. It has taught me not only how to defend myself in any given situation, but also has given me the mental stability and character to do anything I want to do. It has given me the honor to stand up to people like my friends, the respect for others and myself, the confidence to know I can do anything I put my mind to.
Thank you Sensei

I know a 12 year old who attends a "Karate Chain" and has earned his black belt already. My daughter has been with Tri-Star Karate for over a year and I feel she is mor disciplined than this 12 year old black belt. TriStar Karate make youearn your belts whereas the other Karate Chains just see you a black belt.
